The current membership certificate is shown below.
In the upper left is a tavern scene and in the upper right insignia of the Society.
The body of the
certificate publishes the member's name and the qualifying ancestor.
The lower left contains an embossed seal and ribbon, the lower right the
attesting signature of the Keeper of the Tavern Records.
After some debate as to the name of the ribbon's color we decided to
coin our own designation for it. We settled on "Tavern Cream" because
it is that dingy color that colonial linens were often found to be. A
ribbon of the same color suspends the miniature insignia.
